Jeans are one of my wardrobe staples. They're versatile, functional and can be styled in so many different ways. With the explosion of different styles which have come to the market as of late, from the classic and ever popular skinny fit to the more casual and comfortable Mom style which are looser on the leg and sometimes styled down with rips in the knees, there is an endless stream of possibilities when it comes to how to wear your denim and what garments to pair your jeans with. I'm going to show you a few super quick and casual ways which I dress my jeans ahead of SS18.
High-Waisted Skinny Jeans
This style is probably my favourite, as they can be pretty much worn whatever the weather and whatever the season, as they go really well with loads of different tops. I've paired these high-waisted white 'Joni' style jeans from Topshop with a new cropped jumper which has an American, California vibe to it which I think is really seasonal and will be great in the summer on holiday if the evenings are a bit breezy. I've added some gold hoops to the look too as they go well with jeans for a casual but dressy look, as well a gold necklace with my star sign on it, as it adds a nice subtle yet decorative element which I like.
J Brand has some really nice jeans available too. You can check out J Brand online at Trilogy Stores and shop their full, extensive range of denim. Their jeans are really versatile and as a brand they've been exploring gender-neutral clothing. Today so many articles of clothing are designed and made with the fabric and cut the main concern, not if they're going to be specifically worn by females or males. Throughout the decades, designers have always looked at the opposite sex's fashion and drawn inspiration from their clothing shapes and cuts. Denim has always lent itself well to non-binary dressing.
The Skinny Fit Jeans
This style of jean is by far my go-to style as they go with anything which makes them a perfect outfit staple for a day out with the girls, shopping or travel. I've styled a pair of traditional dark blue low-rise skinny jeans here with sparkly stilettos which is a perfect way of dressing up jeans for a night at the theatre for example, or alternatively they also look good with casual wear like a waffle top for an effortless and easy weekend outfit.
A pair of dark denim jeans is always a good idea, as they can be even more versatile than their traditional blue denim counterparts. I have pieced together a dark stone washed pair of denim jeans with silver heeled pumps and a white jacket, which would be a nice classy outfit for weekend drinks or just a day where you feel like being a bit more fancy!

Finally, I have paired my low-rise pale baby blue skinny jeans with my all time favourite jumper. I recently got this jumper from Zara and as soon as I spotted it, I had to have it! I love how poofy the sleeves are, as well as how fluffy it is - I had never seen anything quite like it before and it is also really cosy and warm! I've paired this outfit with my equally fluffy strawberry milkshake pink bag and some beige strappy wedge heels.
Mom Jeans
Another popular style which look great paired with either a cropped jumper or a fitted top, to contrast against their looser style and over all fit. My Mom jeans are a statement piece with blue denim and bold white striped panels and rips in the knees and down the front of the legs. This particular pair are from Topshop and perfect for the upcoming Spring / Summer months.
