So a couple of days ago, it was so so sunny and I wanted to go for a casual yet cute summer look. I was perusing through my wardrobe of wonders and found my cream lace skirt from River Island. I've had it for a few seasons now but never really got around to wearing it, so I thought it was about time that I gave it a little outing, and where better than to Brancpeth Castle which is where I ventured in the morning.
I paired it with a turquoise and grey-marl mix crop top from Topshop and my trusty golden gladiator sandals which I'd likely be lost without over the summer, and a single blue diamante anklet for a bit of added sparkle; the sun light catches gems really nicely, so would definitely encourage everyone to invest in some ankle adornment! I had not invested in a good summer hat until a couple of day's ago, so my Mum thankfully allowed me to borrow one from her extensive hat collection. I love this summer straw hat looks and how it makes me feel like I'm from the times of Beatrix Potter. My Mum told me that it is very 70's, which is also prey cool I'd say.
