The beach. A place that reminds us of sunny summer days and holidays that we have taken over the years. In October, the British coast is far from a tropical haven of humidity, but it is none the less beautiful and the fresh Autumnal costal air is bracing enough to blow away the cobwebs.

The tide was further out than I have actually ever seen it at this beach before. I hadn't been to Seaham for a month or two and it looked so different. All the pebbles had been washed up to the wave breaker at the top of the beach and it was completely sandy down by the sea.
