Afternoon Tea Inspiration with Harrods

Hello my lovelies and a very warm welcome to a brand new blog feature, this time all about my favourite picks from Harrods, which would help make the most perfect afternoon tea at home experience! If you have read Coconut Couture for a while now, then you'll no doubt have seen features about afternoon tea before as it is truly one of my favourite ways to spend a luxurious afternoon in a exquisite setting. So as we are all at home and can only dream of afternoon teas in stately homes with beautiful music serenading us in the background, the delicate clink of tea cups and sipping on a variety of speciality teas as we gaze out of a large widow at a glittering lake, allow me to provide the afternoon tea inspiration courtesy of Harrods and their beautiful fashion, beauty and lifestyle offerings. I have curated a board of fashion and beauty picks that I think are idea for wearing to enjoy afternoon tea as they're light, airy and just sing English country retreat to me! Afternoon Tea Style

Harrods of course is well known for their fantastic array of fashion and I have picked out a couple of things myself, that I thought the dreamiest and perfectly fitting for an afternoon tea experience - you could either dress up whilst at home or add these pieces to your wardrobe for when the times comes to venture out again, so you'll already be set to make a chic fashion impression at your next afternoon tea day!

For fragrance, I have chosen Jo Malone's Earl Grey and Cucumber cologne as this deliciously fresh scent will invigorate the senses and I like that Earl Grey is an aroma note as this just so happens to be my personal favourite variety of tea. Afternoon Tea Treats and Trinkets

You simply can't do afternoon tea without a few of the classic staples. Of course you will be requiring tea (and plenty of it!) but it has got to be of the highest standard in order to give you a truly indulgent experience! Harrods do a fabulous selection of teas and I have included both their English Breakfast variety and Earl Grey in my shop the post section as both are tea cupboard must-haves. They also do a beautiful tea cup which is delicately emblazoned with a pink floral design which I love! I think it makes all the difference sipping your tea out of a cup that you love, wouldn't you agree?!

Additionally, for the main event, especially for making afternoon tea outside that bit more special and memorable, a Harrods hamper is a luxurious delight that will certainly enhance the whole experience tenfold!
