A Luxury Spa Break to 'Slaley Hall Hotel and Spa'

A spa day is a luxurious treat that we all need every now and then, but a spa break, well, that is a whole level up and that's what I got to experience when I was whisked away to the delightful Slaley Hall for a luxurious spa staycation getaway in Northumberland. As soon as you pull upto Slaley Hall, you are immediately transported to a whole different world away from the stresses of day to day life. Located away from the city and in the middle of the rolling Northumberland countryside, if it's true r and r that you seek, Slaley Hall has all the answers to your relaxation call! With a full spa, leisure facilities like a fitness suite and treatments available upon request, as well as a wonderful selection of bars to enjoy drinks, food as well as a luxurious restaurant, a visit to Slaley Hall is sure to leave you feeling rejuvenated and revitalized in every way.

Our room was so inviting and cosy, perfect for a romantic few days away and the large flat screen TV that each room has also means movie nights are a must when you stay! Our room also had a fridge and a tea making station which was perfect, as no day is complete without a cup of tea (or 6!).

The bathroom was large and spacious and the bath was perfect for a good long soak to ease away any tension. The heated towel rail ensured our towels were always dry and nicely toasted too.

Breakfast buffet goals were well and truly achieved as Slaley Hall has the best breakfast selection which I have seen so far! You can choose your own continental or hot breakfast and whatever your heart desires, it's available, including dairy-free milk options which is always great, and gluten-free cereals. You can also order items like pancakes and scrambled or poached eggs straight from the kitchen too. They also have fantastic state of the art coffee machines that you can make your own frothy coffee with too.
